Hallie is becoming one of the funniest people that I know.
Today she played hide and seek with the check out lady at WalMart,
she gave the lady at target the stank eye for a whole minute,
we were making her kiss her toys while we were at perkins and she starting kissing them herself,
she counts to five (but only with the song of it),
she makes herself laugh while talking on the phone a.k.a. her hand,
she has the best dance moves ever
AND she's fluid in jiberish. Non-stop jiberish.
I LOVE IT.
She is my most favorite person in the whole entire world and I can't imagine my life without her. I love being a mom. It's the hardest and most wonderful job. Thank You, Jesus, for my hilarious daughter.
"When the Papa Bear growls : “Someone’s been sleeping in my bed !”, Goldilocks doesn’t wake up. When the Mama Bear does the same, she still doesn’t wake up. And then, when the Baby Bear speaks with his tiny tiny little voice, THEN, THEN she wakes up ! This doesn’t make sense ! Whatever !"

Dear God,
Thanks for the sun and friends and Hallie.
You're the greatest.
See you tomorrow ;)
Love,
Meg
I can tell that you’re down in your well again
Too afraid to climb out
No one can hurt you ‘cause you will draw first, won’t you
You line em up and gun em down
And pretend that you’re content to go without
After everything I’ve done
I still can’t convince you
As long as I’m with you
No harm will come
After everything you’ve seen
You still aren’t believing
Afraid of receiving the gift I’ve brought with me
After everything I’ve done
You left the state on a westbound train
With a storm moving in
Has life been better since that change in the weather
Or are you finally coming to understand
That you can’t escape the
state that you’re in
After everything I’ve done
I still can’t convince you
As long as I’m with you
No harm will come
After everything you’ve seen
You still aren’t believing
Afraid of receiving the
gift I’ve brought with me
After everything I’ve done
Oh it’s madness, I know
Running from yourself
But all of this sadness you hold
You think it’s all you can feel
This pain is not real
I know that you’re hurting now
But
when you’re ready, you will lay it down
Yeah come on lay it down.
And so here I am, preaching and writing about things that are way over my head, the inexhaustible riches and generosity of Christ. My task is to bring out in the open and make plain what God, who created all this in the first place, has been doing in secret and behind the scenes all along. Through followers of Jesus like yourselves gathered in churches, this extraordinary plan of God is becoming known and talked about even among the angels! All this is proceeding along lines planned all along by God and then executed in Christ Jesus. When we trust in him, we're free to say whatever needs to be said, bold to go wherever we need to go. So don't let my present trouble on your behalf get you down. Be proud! My response is to get down on my knees before the Father, this magnificent Father who parcels out all heaven and earth. I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you'll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ's love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.
God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
