GUY LOVE.
LOVE GUY.

OH MY, WONDERFUL
She was OH SO excited for her first day of preschool.
Literally she was jumping up and down. and giggling.
and telling everything in sight "HI!"
We walked her to her classroom and she ran inside,
stole a ball from a little boy and said, "My ball" and
made him cry. Awesome.
She's going to be just fine.

Have fun at college, weirdo.
Hallie asks about you already.
AND I think those swim lessons did more than we thought.
She swam for 3 hours yesterday.
And by swim I mean she went up and down the stairs.
Anyway we miss you , but have fun.
Love you!

My beautiful girl,

"Wash a bahyum" : Wash your bottom
"Now sit down"

"How bout monkey cheese?" : How about mac 'n cheese?

"Look a high foun" : Look what I found

"Muckles" : Knuckles a.k.a. pound it

"Hornin" : Horton
"Feeyoi" : Theodore
"Dogald" : Donald
"McDogalds"

I'm pretty sure that Hallie takes attendance of all the stuffed animals that are in her bed before she can fall asleep. She was freaking out 5 minutes after we put her in bed. The culprit? Mickey Mouse #3 was on the floor across the room.

Too many projects.

Listen to Hallie

Riding in the car today I was mad at Hallie for throwing a giant fit in Target so I unplugged her dvd player. She was forced to listen to music. Heaven forbid. I told her she had to be quiet, but obviously that is terribly hard for her to accomplish these days. Taylor Swift's new song came on. I realized about a minute in that Hallie was sort of singing along. I was trying to figure out how she even knew the song until I realized that she was just singing the words
"Baby Guy Baby Guy Baby Guy"
over and over and over to the melody of the song.
I was dying laughing.
Best moment ever.

A special Hallie date at
THE INDIANA STATE FAIR

In the past month, two complete strangers have told me how well behaved my daughter is.
Me? Were you talking to me?
We went out to dinner and an older couple was sitting in the booth beside us. When they left the man passed by us and said, "Your daughter is very well behaved." WHAT? I mean sometimes she can be quite a handful, but for a complete stranger to make it a point to say something to us? Amazing. I was so proud and I didn't even do anything. THEN a couple of days ago we were shopping for a lunch box for Hal's first preschool! She had to give it to the check out lady and she always gets so upset to let go of whatever it is for 2 seconds while the lady scans the item. Following regular procedure, she cries until the woman hands her back the tinkerbell lunch box. She immediately stops crying and says, "OH Thank you Mama!" I paid for my things and was preparing to leave and the woman behind me says, "It's so nice to hear manners these days."
YES! I am doing something right!
